先决条件 –计算机网络中的传输模式

1. 单工模式:
单工模式就像在单向街道上一样,通信是单向的,就像在单向街道上一样。在这种情况下,一条链路上的两个设备中只有一个可以发送,另一个只能接收。这种模式是利用信道的全部容量向一个方向发送数据。

2.全双工模式:
全双工模式是发送方可以同时发送数据也可以接收数据。它是双向的,即同时双向通信。

单工传输模式和全双工传输模式的区别:

1.  The sender can send the data but that sender can’t receive the data. The sender can send as well as receive the data at the same time.
2. In simplex mode data flow is UniDirectional. In Full Duplex data flow is two directional and is simultaneous.
3. Simplex mode provides worst performance than full duplex mode.  Full duplex provides better performance than simplex mode.
4. In this bandwidth utilization is maximum. In this bandwidth utilization is doubled.
5. In this, one station is the transmitter and the other is the receiver. Here, information is one way, that is, it is only the transmitter that sends data or information. In this, signals are transmitted in both directions; both end stations can receive and send data at the same time. Full duplex mode requires two independent channels for transmission, one for receiving the data and the other for transmitting the data.
6. Keyboard and traditional monitors are example of simplex mode.  Telephone, Instant Chat rooms, Audio Video Calls are example of full duplex mode.
