云计算:按需计算服务的交付称为云计算。我们可以使用应用程序来存储和处理互联网上的能力。这是一种即付即用的服务。无需拥有任何计算基础设施或任何数据中心,任何人都可以从云服务提供商处租用从应用程序到存储的任何内容。
我们可以通过使用云计算服务来避免拥有和维护基础设施的复杂性,并为我们使用的东西付费。
反过来,云计算服务提供商可以通过向广泛的客户提供相同的服务,从显着的规模经济中受益。

雾计算:雾计算是一种分散的计算基础设施或过程,其中计算资源位于数据源和云或任何其他数据中心之间。雾计算是一种在边缘网络为用户请求提供服务的范式。雾层设备通常执行与网络相关的操作,如路由器、网关、网桥和集线器。研究人员设想这些设备能够同时执行计算和网络操作。尽管与云服务器相比,这些设备资源受限,但地理分布和分散性有助于提供覆盖广泛区域的可靠服务。雾计算是设备的物理位置,它比云服务器更接近用户。
